2. Collection of Personal Information
Personal Information that refers to information that can identify you or your identity can be reasonable obtained.
The only personal information that we collect is that which you elect to provide.
3. Sensitive Information
We do not collect sensitive information such as your race, religion, beliefs or sexual preference except where you have consented or where we are permitted or required by law to do so.
4. Use & Disclosure of Information Collected
We will not use or disclose personal information collected by us for any purpose other than:
§ the purposes for which it was provided or secondary related purposes in circumstances where you would reasonably expect such use or disclosure; or
§ where you have consented to such disclosure; or
§ to be used by a representative or third party to contact you; or
§ where we believe in good faith that the National Privacy Principles authorise use or disclosure or where required by law; or
§ in circumstances relating to taking action against anybody interfering with or damaging Strategic Property Management’s rights whether perceived or incurred.

We will take reasonable steps to the best of our ability to ensure that the personal information collected, used or disclosed is accurate and complete.
6. Information Security
Your personal information is generally held in your client file. Information may also be held in a computer database.
We will at all times seek to ensure that the personal information collected and held by us is protected from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. At all times your personal information is treated as confidential and any sensitive information is treated as highly confidential.
7. Access to Information
You may at any time, by contacting us request access to your personal information and we may provide you with access to that information. However, there are limited circumstances in which access to an individual’s personal information will not be allowed. If access to information is denied, we will provide reasons for the denial. All requests for access will usually be acknowledged within 14 days.
8. Updating Information Collected
We will endeavor to ensure that, at all times your personal information which we hold is up to date and accurate. Therefore, you are encouraged to contact us and advise of any change in your personal circumstances that may affect your dealings with us.
9. Webs Site Cookies, Links and Log Files
Cookies assist us to track and target the interests of our users which enables us to continually improve and service changing needs of the users.
We may use IP addresses to analyse trends, administer the site, track user movements and to gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personal identifiable information.
10. Notification of changes
In the event that we are to use the personal information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection then the users will be notified by way of e-mail. The users will have the option to decline the use of the information in the different manner.
11. Complaints and Further Information
We have in place facilities to properly consider and deal with any inquiries or complaints if you believe the privacy of your personal information has been compromised. We will endeavor to respond to all complaints within two days and aim to have them resolved within seven days where possible. Where this is not possible, you will be contacted and advised when it is likely that your complaint will be resolved.
It is our intention to use our best endeavors to resolve any complaint to your satisfaction. However, if you are unhappy with our response, you are entitled to contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner who may investigate your complaint further.
