Repairs

Whether you reside in a new or older property you are bound to require a repair at some stage. The repair may be caused by wear and tear, extreme weather, age or manufacturer fault. Regardless of the reason, all repairs should be reported as soon as you become aware of them to avoid further damage, safety issues, or inconvenience.

All repairs, no matter how trivial must be reported to our office in writing.

There are 2 ways that you can do this:

i)  ONLINE - complete an online repair request form (click here), or

ii)  FAX - printing the Repair Request Form and faxing the completed form to             (02) 9744 2296 (click here)

Only URGENT (emergency) repairs will be accepted verbally.

Your property manager will attend to all repairs as promptly as possible, however, in some instances it may be necessary to obtain the landlord’s approval for the work to be carried out or for quotes to be obtained before any work can commence. On these occasions there may be an unavoidable delay.

Please Note: You are not to contact or arrange repairs without the consent of the property manager otherwise you may be responsible for the cost incurred or the cost of the rectification work.

It is important to note that you are required by law to minimise any damage to the property by reporting repairs promptly. You must also continue paying your rent even though repairs may still be outstanding.

You will be contacted by one of our staff to follow up the repairs usually within 7 days from the date the work order is sent to the tradesperson. We want to ensure that you are satisfied with the repair and that you are happy with the performance and standard of the tradesperson. We value your opinion and want to ensure that you are happy with the service so if you feel that the tradesperson is not up to standard then please let us know so that we can ensure the high standards of our preferred tradespeople.
